The box has a removable insert tray with three compartments and is secured by a combination lock with a user-settable code.

Set the code as follows:
- Enter the default code 0-0-0 and open the box by turning the knob
- The reset switch is located inside the box; slide this switch to the upper right
- Enter your new code
- return the reset switch to the starting position (bottom left)
- The key safe can now only be opened with your chosen combination
Tip:
After setting the code, first check that it works before clicking the front panel into the key box. This prevents an incorrect code from being set or the box from becoming impossible to open.Warning: Make sure you do not forget the code. Choose a code that is easy to remember and, if necessary, write it down in a secret place.
The code can be changed at any time by following the instructions above.
